President Bola Tinubu is scheduled to commission the refurbished Third Mainland Bridge on Sunday, among other infrastructural projects under his administration, before May 29, marking his first anniversary in office.

These projects include the concrete-paved road along Apapa and Tin Can Island and the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway.

This was disclosed in a press release on Saturday by the Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

According to Onanuga, on Sunday, May 26, Tinubu will commission the reconstructed road, which began under the Muhammadu Buhari administration at the Tin Can Island route.

On Sunday, Tinubu will also formally and virtually inaugurate the refurbished Third Mainland Bridge. On the same day, the Lagos-Calabar Coastal Highway, estimated to cost N15 trillion at completion, will also be inaugurated.

On Tuesday, Tinubu is expected to return to Abuja for another commissioning of the Southern Parkway, which the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, built.

On Wednesday, the President will attend the National Assembly Dialogue Series, after which he will unveil the National Assembly Library Complex, named after him.

On the same day, he will relaunch the commercialisation of the Abuja Light Rail project, which the Buhari-led administration built.

President Tinubu will commission the NASENI-Portland Compressed Natural Gas(CNG) Reverse Engineering Centre at Utako on Friday, May 31.

Meanwhile, the 330 roads to be commissioned virtually, as stated by Onanuga, remain unseen.
