The Afro Nation music festival electrified Detroit, USA, on August 17-18, 2024, with a sold-out crowd and performances from top Afrobeats artists, including Ayra Starr, Rema, Kizz Daniel, Adekunle Gold, and Asake. Thousands of fans gathered for the event, which has gained international recognition for showcasing the best of African music.

Rema energised the crowd with tracks from his latest album ‘HEIS’. Ayra Starr captivated the audience with her vibrant performances, delivering hits from her new album ‘The Year I Turned 21’.Asake also left an impression with his renditions of chart-topping hits from his newly released third album ‘Lungu Boy’. While Kizz Daniel and Adekunle Gold treated fans to a medley of their popular songs.

In addition to the Nigerian stars, the festival featured other artists such as Jamaican singer Shenseea and Detroit rapper Kashdoll. However, Lil Wayne could not attend the event due to weather-related travel issues, expressed his disappointment on social media and promised to reconnect with his fans soon.
