Popular Nigerian Artiste, Habeeb Okikiola also known as ‘Portable’, has taken to social media to express his anger over the deplorable state of roads in Ogun State, making reference to his residential area of the Sango-Iyana Ilogbo road.

In a video on X, the artiste was seen having difficulties removing his car from a pothole. He lamented that bad roads in the state could “send him to an early grave.”

Portable in the video noted he had just returned from the United States and expressed disappointment over the non-development of the state’s infrastructure, saying that the Sango-Iyana Ilogbo road has been abandoned for so many years without meaningful construction.

Recall that Portable had mockingly expressed the desire for a specific car that he believes would be perfect for navigating the roads of Sango Ota when he was in the U.S.

In this recent video, he stated that the Ogun State Governor, Dapo Abiodun, who had been trending on X recently over the road infrastructure in the state, should work around getting the roads to a better condition.

West Africa Weekly reported that Abiodun’s administration announced the commencement of a massive rehabilitation and reconstruction project targeting many of the state’s roads. Residents of the state recently called out the governor on social media over the deplorable state of roads.
