Pitbull, the globally renowned artist, recently shared his reaction to including his song in the carriage scene from Netflix’s hit series Bridgerton.

Expressing his appreciation on Instagram, he emphasised the power of music as an international language that transcends boundaries. The scene, set in a carriage and featuring Pitbull’s chart-topping track “Give Me Everything,” underscored the series’ knack for incorporating contemporary hits into its period drama setting.

Bridgerton, known for its innovative use of modern music in historical contexts, continued this trend in the latest season, featuring covers of popular songs by artists like BTS, Nick Jonas, and Taylor Swift. In episode four of the newest instalment, Pitbull’s infectious beats provided the soundtrack to a steamy encounter between characters Colin and Penelope, portrayed by Luke Newton and Nicola Coughlan, respectively.

Pitbull expressed gratitude for the opportunity to contribute to the series, noting how the timeless appeal of a hit song can enhance storytelling across different eras.
