Today, on May 8, 2024, Mavin Records celebrates a milestone, marking 12 years of shaping the African music landscape as one of its leading record labels.

Established in 2012 by the visionary Don Jazzy, Mavin Records swiftly rose to prominence. Don Jazzy’s ambitious vision for Afrobeat’s evolution found its wings in Mavin Records, propelling it to unparalleled success.

Over the past dozen years, Mavin Records has been a nurturing hub for some of Afrobeats’ most illustrious talents, producers, and industry enthusiasts. Pioneering the way forward, the label became the launchpad for global stars like Tiwa Savage, Wande Coal, Korede Bello, and more in the early 2010s. Today, the label boasts a roster including Rema, Ayra Starr, Ladipoe, Johnny Drille, Crayon, Bayanni, Boy Spyce, Lifesize Teddy & DJ Big N.
