Nigerian music sensation David Adeleke, widely known as Davido, has secured his inaugural spot on the coveted Billboard Hot 100 chart with his collaborative track “Sensational.” The song, featuring international artist Chris Brown and fellow Nigerian singer Lojay, debuted at number 96 in this week’s rankings.

Previously, “Sensational” had dominated the Bubbling chart, claiming the top position for three consecutive weeks. Billboard acknowledged the achievement, highlighting, “@chrisbrown’s ‘Sensational’ featuring @davido & @Lojaymusic debuts at No. 96 on this week’s #Hot100. It earns Davido and Lojay their first career entries on the chart.”

This accomplishment propelled Davido and Lojay into the esteemed league of Nigerian artists who had made their mark on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100. They now share this distinction with industry peers such as Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tems, Rema, Ckay, and Fireboy DML.

The collaborative success of “Sensational” not only added to Davido’s growing list of achievements but also underscored the global impact of Nigerian music, solidifying its presence on the international stage. As the music industry continues to witness the rise of African talent, Davido and Lojay’s entry further cements the position of Nigerian artists as influential contributors to the global music scene.
