While formally accredited to Niger, several of the envoys are based outside the country, with residences in Abuja, Algiers, and Juba.

The presentation of credentials marks an important step in the formal assumption of duties by the ambassadors, allowing them to begin official engagements with Nigerien authorities ahead of the submission of their full letters of credence to the head of state.
