Nigerian sprinter and 100m hurdles world record holder Tobi Amusan has unveiled the trailer for her highly anticipated documentary, Homecoming: The Tobi Amusan Story.

Directed by Lanre Aina and Sulaiman Folarin, the documentary is set to show an intimate and unfiltered glimpse into Amusan’s life,  showcasing the highs and lows of her career.

The teaser showcases the Amusan’s perseverance, highlighting her battles, including her struggle with the Athletics Integrity Unit (AIU) over anti-doping allegations in 2023.

Amusan, suspended indefinitely for missing three doping tests in 12 months, was later cleared of all charges in June 2024 by the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS).

Her record-breaking run at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Oregon and the setbacks have shaped her as an athlete.

Despite previous Olympic disappointments in Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020, Amusan expressed confidence about her performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, though Nigeria did not secure a medal.
