U.S. carrier Delta Airlines has announced the commencement of daily service from Lagos to New York starting December 1, 2024.
The airline said its service extension includes Ghana and South Africa, as the U.S. airline reinforces its position as the largest aircraft carrier in Africa.
According to a statement by the Senior Vice President of Network Planning, Joe Esposito, “Delta Airlines carries more than half a million customers between the U.S. and Africa each year on more than 34 weekly flights.”
It added that the enhancement reflects its dedication to meeting the evolving needs of its customers.
“We are expanding our options so customers can experience the premium service and elevated hospitality they expect from Delta. Customers flying in Delta Premium Select will have more space to relax and stretch out, with a broader seat, deeper recline, an adjustable footrest, and leg rest,” the statement added.
