Police, Councilor Confirms Terrorists Abduct Former PDP Chairman, 22 Others in Abuja

As terrorists keep the insecurity level in Nigeria at a soaring height, a recent attack has reportedly taken to the heart of Nigeria, Abuja municipal, as the former PDP chairman and 22 others were abducted.

Armed group designated as ‘bandits’ even though their actions speaks more of terrorists were reported on Thursday, January 11, storming the community of Bwari area council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT)

The attack was carried out by 40 terrorists, leaving with one of the former Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Alhaji Alhassan Sidi Kawu. However, the councillor representing the area, Abdulmumini Zakari, reportedly stated that the terrorists arrived in the community on Wednesday, January 10, via the Kuyeri Forest in Kaduna State.

Meanwhile, when interviewed by pressmen, the Police spokesperson in FCT, Josephine Adeh, confirmed the attack, describing the abductors as “unknown hoodlums”.

“Some unknown hoodlums have stormed Kawu village, a bordering community with Kagarko LGA, in Kaduna state, and kidnapped people.”

“The truth is that the miscreants that general area and escaped into Kaduna State,” she said.
