Tyla Joins Star-Studded Cast Of Sabrina Carpenter’s Holiday Special, A Nonsense Christmas, On Netflix

South African artiste Tyla will feature in A Nonsense Christmas, Sabrina Carpenter’s holiday particular set to premiere on Netflix. Slated to stream on Friday, December 6, at 6 p.m. PST/9 p.m. EST, the festive musical variety show promises a mix of holiday tunes, comedy, and star-studded performances.

Tyla, the only African artist in the production, joins a notable lineup of musical guests, including Shania Twain, Kali Uchis, and Chappell Roan. Comedic appearances and scripted roles will feature renowned names such as Quinta Brunson, Cara Delevingne, Kyle Mooney, and Megan Stalter. The show will also highlight Carpenter performing tracks from her holiday EP, Fruitcake, and other popular seasonal covers and duets.

The special marks another milestone in Tyla’s rapidly growing international career. Her appearance follows a string of achievements, including being the official musical headliner for Victoria’s Secret last month and winning awards at the MTV VMAs and EMAs.

The holiday special is executive-produced by Sabrina Carpenter, alongside her sister Sarah Carpenter and managers Bill Perlman and Janelle Lopez Genzink. Tyla’s inclusion further cements her status as a global music icon, showcasing her ability to resonate with audiences far beyond her home continent.
