Skepta Releases ‘Jangrova’ ft. Odumodublvck & Idris Elba

Renowned British rapper of Nigerian descent, Skepta, has recently dropped his latest single, ‘Jangrova,’ featuring Odumodublvck and Idris Elba. The 41-year-old artist unveiled the track on Friday across various streaming platforms, sharing the news on his social media channels.

In this dynamic collaboration, Skepta and Elba synchronize their raps, while Odumodublvck adds a distinctive Nigerian flair to the energetic beat. Skepta, a prominent figure in the British rap scene, boasts an impressive discography with five albums, five mixtapes, and collaborative projects. Notably, he has garnered nominations at prestigious awards like the Brit Awards.

Odumodublvck, born Tochukwu Ojogwu, is recognized for his captivating stage presence and genre-blending artistry. In 2022, he inked a record deal with NATIVE Records in partnership with Def Jam Recordings. The same year saw the release of his debut single, ‘Picanto,’ featuring ECko Miles and Zlatan, followed by the chart-topping ‘Declan Rice,’ named after the English footballer.

Idris Elba, originally known for his acting prowess since 1994, gained prominence in 1995 with a significant role in the series ‘Bramwell.’ Transitioning to the American entertainment industry, Elba has amassed numerous awards and accolades for his contributions.

This collaboration not only highlights the fusion of talent across borders but also underscores the diverse influences shaping the contemporary music landscape.
