Turkish giants Galatasaray are on the verge of signing Nigerian striker Victor Osimhen on loan from Napoli, with the forward reportedly accepting the move.

The development follows a period of intense speculation about Osimhen’s future, culminating in his exclusion from Napoli’s Serie A squad list for the season.

Osimhen, who played a crucial role in Napoli’s title-winning campaign, has clarified that he wants to leave the club on his terms.

As part of his conditions for joining Galatasaray, Osimhen and Napoli have agreed that his release clause at Napoli be reduced from €130 million to €75 million.

Additionally, the 24-year-old is pushing for a break clause in the loan agreement, allowing him to leave in January if top clubs show interest.

Reports from Turkey suggest that Galatasaray fans are already wearing jerseys with “OSIMHEN” eagerly anticipating the arrival of the prolific striker.

Osimhen’s future has been the subject of much debate in recent days, with Premier League side Chelsea and Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal both attempting to sign him during the summer transfer window, but both ended futile.
