In Gujarat state, India, a star-studded pre-wedding celebration hosted by Mukesh Ambani, Asia’s wealthiest individual, is underway. Notable guests such as Mark Zuckerberg, Rihanna, and Bill Gates have gathered for the festivities ahead of Anant Ambani’s upcoming marriage to Radhika Merchant in July.

The event, held in Jamnagar city, also boasts the presence of Bollywood luminaries Shah Rukh Khan and Amitabh Bachchan. Mukesh Ambani, currently the world’s 10th richest person with a net worth of $115 billion, heads Reliance Industries, a sprawling conglomerate spanning refining, retail, financial services, and telecom sectors.

Avant-, the youngest of his three children, is actively involved in Reliance’s energy businesses and serves on the board of Reliance Foundation. The extravagant affair echoes the Ambani family’s tradition of opulent weddings, with past events featuring performances by Beyoncé and attended by global dignitaries such as Hillary Clinton and John Kerry.

This time, the guest list includes Indian tycoons Gautam Adani and Kumar Mangalam Birla and Disney CEO Bob Iger, following Disney’s recent announcement of merging its India assets with Reliance. The festivities, which commenced with the Ambani family serving food to locals, are being held in a township near Reliance’s main oil refinery, with about 1,200 guests in attendance.
