Malian Ambassador Presents Credentials to Hungarian President

His Excellency Yacouba Diakité, the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Republic of Mali with residence in Rome, has officially presented his letters of credence to His Excellency Dr Tamás Sulyok, President of Hungary. The ceremony occurred on Tuesday, October 7, 2025, in Budapest.

During the presentation, Ambassador Diakité conveyed the warm greetings of His Excellency General Assimi Goïta, President of the Transition and Head of State of Mali. He reaffirmed his commitment to strengthening the long-standing ties of friendship and cooperation between Mali and Hungary, which aligns with Mali’s renewed vision for public governance and international partnership.

The credential ceremony underscored the shared determination of both nations to deepen bilateral relations in a spirit of mutual respect and shared benefit. Both sides expressed their readiness to expand cooperation in key areas of common interest for the prosperity of their peoples.
