Former South African President Jacob Zuma has arrived in Burkina Faso for an official visit, where he was received by the country’s Minister of Foreign Affairs.
Upon his arrival, Zuma expressed his support for the Burkinabè authorities, praising their ongoing efforts.
I have come to accompany my comrades, the Burkinabè authorities, who have already done so much for this country, he said.
During his stay, Zuma is scheduled to deliver a public lecture on November 1, focusing on the history of African liberation movements.

His visit forms part of the “Afrodescendants Stay,” a major initiative promoting reconnection and return to the continent for members of the African diaspora.
