Nigeria Flamingos Beat Niger 9-0 in WAFU Zone B U17 Opener

The Nigeria Flamingos delivered a commanding performance to kick off their campaign at the WAFU Zone B U17 Women Cup, defeating the Niger Republic 9-0 at the Centre Prampram, Accra on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

The Flamingos dominated from the outset, scoring seven goals in the first half alone. Their relentless attacking display left their opponents unable to recover.

Star forward Shakirat Moshood stole the spotlight with a standout performance, earning the Player of the Match award.

The starting XI, led by goalkeeper Christiana Uzoma, set the tone with a flawless team effort. With key contributions from players like Mary Mamuda and Aishat Animashaun, who showcased precision and flair throughout the game with a goal.
