Renowned singer Celine Dion, who has been absent from the limelight due to health challenges, took centre stage in a new documentary by Amazon MGM Studios titled “I Am: Celine Dion.” Prime Video unveiled the trailer on May 23, offering audiences a look into Dion’s life with Stiff Person Syndrome (SPS).

“I was diagnosed with a very rare neurological disorder, and I wasn’t ready to say anything before,” she said in the trailer. “But I’m ready now”. Elle Magazine reported that SPS is a condition that causes muscle stiffness, making everyday tasks arduous. Dion first disclosed her condition to the public in December 2022.
Scheduled for a global release on June 25, 2024, exclusively on Prime Video, the documentary promises an intimate portrayal of Dion’s journey. The music legend’s tearful revelation at the end of the trailer expresses her longing for the stage and her fans: “If I can’t run, I’ll walk. If I can’t walk, I’ll crawl.”
Directed by Irene Taylor, the film offers a candid exploration of the iconic singer’s resilience in the face of adversity and her journey as a singer.
