South African star Tyla has released a vibrant, summer-ready video for her latest single, “Jump,” featuring Gunna and Skillibeng. The Nabil-directed video showcases Tyla in her native South Africa, lounging, tanning, and striking poses for photos. One standout scene features Tyla stopping traffic to engage in a twerk-off in front of a bus adorned with her images.

In “Jump,” Tyla sings, “From Jozi to Ibiza/They say it doesn’t get sweeter,” showcasing her sultry and sweet vocals with lines like “Feel my body bangin’ like a speaker/Ooh, sweatin’ out my concealer.”

The video follows her March album, which includes tracks such as “No.1” with Tems, “On My Body” with Becky G, and her breakthrough hit “Water.” In an interview with Rolling Stone, Tyla expressed her pride in her debut album and excitement about putting South African music on the global stage.

When I listen to the album, I’m so proud, she shared. I just see our sound going so far: the culture, the words, the slang. Even just Joburg — the thought of people now singing about Joburg.
