The Government of Abia State, Governor Alex Otti, inaugurates 19 new members of the Abia State Global Economic Advisory Council (AGEAC).

Governor Alex Otti inaugurates 20 new members to join as board members of the Abia State Global Economic Advisory Council (AGEAC) into his cabinet on Thursday, January 18th, 2024, at a public function in the state.

This announcement was made public by the state Deputy Chief of Staff, Mr. Nedu Ekeke, via his X’s (formerly Twitter) handle while listing the Alex Otti-appointed members of the AGEAC advisory council.

However, this is a move following the State welcome of the Indonesian Ambassador to Nigeria, His Excellency Usra Hendra Harahap as a means to position Abia as a state committed to fostering economic growth through strategic partnerships.to Abia.

While the following names are the newly appointed Co-Chair Members of the AGEAC advisory council, others are appointed as Honourary Advisors and Members, respectively.

Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, GCON – Honourary Advisor

Dr. Benedict Oramah, CON – Honourary Advisor

Mrs. Ifueko Omoigui Okauru, MFR – Member

Mr. Chidi Ajaegbu – Member

Mr. Uche Orji – Member
