MOUAU Graduate Sets Sights on Guinness World Record with 72-Hour Quiz Marathon

Recent Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike (MOUAU) graduate, Prince George Ogwuru, has received approval for a 72-hour marathon quiz competition to set a new Guinness World Record for the longest quiz marathon. The competition aims to promote lifelong learning and create awareness about the significance of agriculture.

Ogwuru, a 25-year-old Plant Health Management graduate, plans to inspire a reading culture and friendly competition among youths while emphasizing the importance of agriculture in society. The event is scheduled for April 23–27, 2024, at MOUAU, featuring agricultural-related questions and participants from various disciplines. Ogwuru’s goal is to make a positive impact on young farmers and encourage the exploration of the diverse agricultural sector. Participation in the event is free.
