Virgil Van Dijk Includes Three Nigerian Artists in Top 5 Playlist

Netherlands and Liverpool captain, Virgil Van Dijk, has recently shared his top five playlist, which prominently features Nigerian artists Omah Lay, Asake, and Rema. In a video posted on social media, Van Dijk revealed his musical preferences, alongside acknowledging former American rappers Mase and the late Notorious B.I.G.

Van Dijk’s playlist begins with Omah Lay’s “Holy Ghost” at number one, followed by Mase’s “Feel So Good” at number two, and Notorious B.I.G’s “More Money, More Problems” at number three. At number four, he selected Asake’s “Lonely At The Top” and concluded the list with Rema’s “Charm”.

While sharing his musical tastes, Van Dijk continues to focus on his football career. As Liverpool prepares to face Chelsea in the Carabao Cup, Van Dijk aims to contribute to securing Liverpool’s first trophy of the season. The highly anticipated game is scheduled for Sunday, February 25, 2024, at Wembley Stadium.
