294

Super Eagles and Bayer Leverkusen striker Victor Boniface has survived a ghastly car accident which occurred yesterday. Boniface had earlier the same day scored the winning goal in his team’s match against Eintracht Frankfurt.

The accident took place hours after Boniface’s heroics on the pitch, where his decisive goal secured Leverkusen’s victory over Frankfurt.

However, what could have been a day of celebration turned into a moment of anxiety for many, as the seriousness of the crash left fans fearing the worst.

Boniface wrote on social media on Sunday “god is the greatest” and “god says my time hasn’t come.”

Though details about the cause and exact nature of the crash remain scarce and Leverkusen are yet to comment on the news.
