Popular Nigerian singer, Tiwa Savage revealed on her Instagram story that she fell victim to a robbery in London, United Kingdom, on Wednesday.

Expressing her frustration in a post today, she shared, “Damn London, una show me pepper o. I got robbed yesterday.” However, Tiwa didn’t provide specific details about the incident.

Tiwa, a prominent figure in the Nigerian music industry with global recognition and numerous awards, has been making waves not only for her music but also for her upcoming debut movie, ‘Water and Garri.’

Fans expressed concern for the singer/songwriter’s safety after her initial post, but she reassured them with a subsequent post saying, “Thanks guys.”

Unfortunately, this incident isn’t Tiwa Savage’s first encounter with robbery. In April 2023, there was an unsuccessful attempt to rob her residence, which she confirmed in an official statement on April 14. She reassured fans that she and her family were safe, and some individuals involved in the attempted robbery were arrested and held for further investigation at the Alagbon Police Station, Ikoyi. Despite these challenges, Tiwa Savage remains resilient, continuing her hustle and maintaining her prominence in the music scene.
