408

The Teachers Registration Council of Nigeria (TRCN) registrar Josiah Ajiboye has revealed that nearly 30% of the teachers who sat for the November 2023 Professional Qualifying Examination conducted by the body failed. He explained that some candidates were not present for the exams while others cheated on the exams, which led to the cancellation of their results.

He told pressmen today that the Council is committed to improving the teaching profession and by extension, the quality of education in the Country.

If teachers are cheating on exams and failing, what is their students’ fate?
