Nollywood actress Sharon Ooja and her husband, Ugo Nwoke, tied the knot today, June 29, 2024, in a stunning white ceremony in Abuja. The couple’s union followed a traditional wedding in the same city on June 27, 2024, where Ooja dazzled in a series of breathtaking outfits.

The #LoveUnitesUS24 celebration has captivated social media, with fans and followers enchanted by every moment shared online. Ooja’s wedding dress was designed by the celebrity designer Veekee James and was stunning.

The star-studded guest list included notable celebrities such as Funke Akindele, Shaffy Bello, Omowunmi Dada, Jemima Osunde, Timini Egbuson, Stan Nze, Veekee James, and more, who attended in their finest attire to celebrate with the newlyweds.

Adding to the excitement, Netflix premiered “Oloture: The Journey” on June 28, 2024, the day after Ooja’s traditional wedding. The 3-part drama series, starring Sharon Ooja, Beverly Osu, Omoni Oboli, and Daniel Etim-Effiong, is the sequel to the 2019 film “Oloture.” The series follows the story of a journalist who infiltrates a sex trafficking ring by posing as a sex worker, ultimately finding her way to Europe.
