American music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has been hit with several new lawsuits, including a disturbing claim that he drugged and raped a 13-year-old girl in 2000.
The accusation, filed under a Jane Doe, alleges that Combs assaulted the girl after she was taken to a party following the MTV Video Music Awards. The incident allegedly involved two celebrities – an unnamed male celebrity who also assaulted her, while a female celebrity watched.
The plaintiff, now living in Alabama, alleges that after consuming a drink at the party “began to feel woozy and lightheaded”. There, she claims both Combs and the male celebrity assaulted her. Following the alleged trauma, she “fell into a deep depression which continues to affect every facet of her life.”
Combs, who is currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Center in Brooklyn, was arrested in September on unrelated charges of racketeering, sex trafficking, and transportation for prostitution. He has pleaded not guilty but was denied bail twice. If convicted, Combs could face life imprisonment. His trial is scheduled for May next year.
