Russia's Investigative Committee Links Ukraine to Terrorist Attack at Crocus City Hall

The Chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia (SKR), Bastrykin Alexander Ivanovich, held an operational meeting with the investigative team on the progress of the investigation into the criminal case of a terrorist attack in Crocus City Hall.

The committee’s investigators presented their ongoing findings, which established a connection between the terror attack and Ukrainian Nationalists, to the commission during a meeting on Thursday in Krasnogorsk.

The investigators had gathered information on the planning, execution, and preparation of a terrorist attack on unarmed citizens.

However, preliminary investigations fully confirm the nature of the attack as an act of terror against Russia, along with preparation and financial support methods applied.

Before this was the statement of Russia’s President, Vladimir Putin, which stated, “We know by whose hands this crime against Russia and its people were committed. We want to know who ordered it.”

Based on the goal of identifying the perpetrators of planned terror attacks on unarmed citizens, not just the executioner, Russia, in working with the detainees, obtained and analysed the technical devices used and financial transactions of the terrorists to establish a connection with Ukrainian Nationalists.

According to the SKR investigation, it has data at its disposal that confirms the terrorists’ receipt of substantial sums of money and cryptocurrency from Ukraine, which they used to fund their preparations for the crime.
