Veteran Nigerian actor Richard Mofe-Damijo (RMD) and his son, Oghenetega, achieved remarkable success at the Utah International Film Festival. Their film Revelations earned multiple awards. RMD, who starred in and co-wrote the movie, won Best Actor, and the film itself was named Best International Film.

In Lagos and Utah, Revelations features a blend of Nigerian and international stars, including Chioma Akpotha, Nnamdi Kanaga, Tanya Price, and Alex Boyé. The film’s story and production reflect RMD’s dedication to cross-cultural storytelling. Oghenetega, following in his father’s footsteps, received an Honourable Mention for Best Supporting Actor, marking a strong debut in his acting career.

Other accolades included Best Producer for Tanya Price, Best Country Song for Alex Boyé, and a special mention for the ensemble cast. The film’s success highlights not only RMD’s enduring legacy but also the promise of Nigerian cinema on the global stage.
