Peter Gregory Obi Condemns Tragic Killing and Insecurity Crisis

1.1k

The fact that these kidnappings, killings and other reported cases of armed robbery and violent attacks, are now taking place in Abuja, the nation’s capital, is a clear pointer to how insecure the rest of the country now is. – Peter Obi

Presidential candidate Peter Gregory Obi has strongly condemned the tragic killing of Ahmadu Bello University student Nabeeha Al-Kadriyar, who was kidnapped alongside her family in Abuja. Expressing deep concern, Obi highlighted the pervasive insecurity in Nigeria, emphasizing the urgency for leaders to protect citizens.

The incident in the nation’s capital underscores the alarming spread of such crimes. Suspected gunmen also targeted the palace of the Traditional Ruler of Isseke Community in Anambra State. Obi urged the government and security agencies to intensify efforts to rescue captives and secure the nation.

He offered heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family, praying for Nabeeha’s eternal rest. Despite the challenges, Obi remains hopeful that decisive actions will conquer violent crimes and restore national security.
