Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has appointed former Nigeria international Manu Garba as the Head Coach of the Golden Eaglets.

The announcement, made today via the NFF website, marks Garba’s return to the helm of the youth squad.

Garba, a seasoned tactician, is no stranger to success on the global stage. He famously led the Golden Eaglets to victory in the FIFA U17 World Cup held in the United Arab Emirates in 2013.

This triumph marked Nigeria’s fourth conquest at the prestigious tournament, solidifying the nation’s reputation as a powerhouse in youth football.

The NFF’s decision to reinstate Garba comes amidst preparations for the upcoming WAFU B U17 Championship, slated to occur in Ghana next month.
