The Malian Armed Forces have carried out a successful territorial surveillance operation in the north-eastern area of Saraferé, in the Mopti region, according to a military statement.
The operation resulted in the neutralisation of several fighters identified as members of armed terrorist groups operating in the area. Military authorities said the action forms part of ongoing efforts to secure communities and maintain control over strategic zones amid persistent security threats.
