Kaduna: NAF Helicopter Crashes, Pilot Survives

NAF Helicopter Crash Kaduna

A Nigerian Air Force (NAF) helicopter has reportedly crashed on Monday morning in the Tami community, located in the Igabi Local Government Area of Kaduna State.

According to reports, an eyewitness stated that the incident occurred around 5 a.m. It was reported that the helicopter was on a routine flight when it encountered technical problems, resulting in a tragic accident.

Residents were alerted by a loud noise from the crash site and rushed to the scene, where they saw the pilot emerging from the wreckage.

“A team of military officers from the Nigerian Air Force swiftly arrived at the scene to secure the area and conduct an initial investigation.

“They cordoned off the crash site to prevent unauthorised access and ensure the villagers’ safety. The officers also began preliminary assessments to determine the cause of the crash, which remains unknown now,” Vanguard quoted a local saying.

Meanwhile, the Nigerian Air Force has not released an official statement regarding the incident.
