Flavour Thrills Fans With Sold-Out Show At London’s OVO Wembley Arena

Nigerian artist Flavour captivated a sold-out audience at the 12,000-capacity OVO Wembley Arena in London on August 24, 2024, delivering a performance that solidified his place as one of Africa’s most iconic artists. The concert was not only a showcase of his latest hits but also a celebration of his nearly two-decade-long career, marked by his unique fusion of African cultural elements, particularly Igbo indigenous music.

The concert featured guest appearances from several of Nigeria’s music heavyweights, including Phyno, Falz, and Iyanya. Flavour’s collaborations with these artists were among the night’s highlights, as he performed “ndị Ike” with Falz and “Hard to Find” with Chike. The audience was also treated to an exceptional performance by Igbo Highlife legend Bright Chimezie, further enhancing the cultural depth of the event.

In addition to his recent work, Flavour took his fans on a nostalgic journey, performing some of his classic love and cultural hits, such as “Ada Ada.” The concert also included songs from his latest album, African Royalty, released in December 2023. Tracks like “Game Changer” and “Levels” were met with enthusiastic responses.

Among the notable personalities present at the event were socialite and businessman Cubana Chief Priest, Co-founder of The Plug and Davido’s manager Asa Asika, Rita Dominic, Tiwa Savage and Nigerian international footballer Alex Iwobi.

Flavour’s sold-out London concert is a powerful reminder of his enduring influence in the African music landscape. His ability to fill one of London’s most prestigious venues is a testament to his sustained popularity and the deep connection he has forged with fans worldwide.
