Addressing the media on Sunday, Mohammed Idris, the Minister of Information and National Orientation, reaffirmed the government’s commitment to transparency and accountability.

He emphasized the administration’s dedication to ensuring that public funds are utilized judiciously to address the needs of the Nigerian populace.

“In light of recent events, the President has directed that a thorough and comprehensive investigation be conducted to ascertain the accuracy and validity of the reported details,” stated Minister Idris during the press briefing.

The Ministry of Information and National Orientation has emphasized its role as the primary source for verified information concerning the actions of the Federal Government.

Minister Idris assured the public that only accurate updates on the investigation’s progress would be shared in a timely manner.

However, while the Information and Orientation Ministry is assuring of giving accurate information to the public, the citizens await the outcome of the investigation, as the issues surrounding the allegation have generated different opinions and outrage by the public.
