Egypt Reaffirms Full Support for Mali in Fight Against Terrorism

Egypt has reaffirmed its full support for Mali in its fight against terrorism, following a phone conversation between Egypt’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Badr Abdelatty, and his Malian counterpart, Abdoulaye Diop.

According to an official statement, the two ministers discussed the security situation in Mali and the broader Sahel region, as well as the development challenges facing the area. Egypt expressed solidarity with Mali as it continues efforts to address insecurity and stabilize the country.

The exchange was presented as a strong signal of South-South solidarity and partnership, underscoring Egypt’s intention to play a supportive role in Mali’s security and development priorities.
