Nigerian Afrobeats star Davido has been confirmed as a headliner for the 2025 Summerjam Festival in Germany, sharing the spotlight with Jamaican reggae icon Vybez Kartel. The festival is set to take place from June 4 to June 6, 2025.

This marks a major moment for Davido, following Burna Boy’s headline performance at the festival in 2024. Other top acts for the event include reggae and dancehall powerhouses such as Beenie Man, Morgan Heritage, and more.

Davido recently announced a new single, Be There Still, set for release on March 15. This track will be the final single before his highly anticipated album, 5ive, drops on April 18. The album will feature 17 tracks.

Ahead of the album launch, Davido has already teased fans with two singles: Awuke, a collaboration with Jamaican dancehall star YG Marley, and Funds, featuring Nigerian artists Chike and OdumoduBlvck.

Beyond his festival appearance and music releases, Davido has also gained international recognition by securing a spot on King’s Music Room, a playlist personally curated by King Charles III to showcase artists across the Commonwealth. The playlist features music legends such as Bob Marley, Kylie Minogue, Grace Jones, and Raye, further highlighting Davido’s global influence.
