Davido Joins Forces With Spiro To Launch Electric Bike Line In Africa

Afrobeats star Davido is teaming up with Spiro, Africa’s top electric vehicle company, in a strategic partnership to launch his electric bike line in 2025. The collaboration aims to expand access to eco-friendly transportation across the continent.

Spiro has already rolled out over 22,000 electric bikes and set up battery-swapping stations in countries like Nigeria, Kenya, Rwanda, Ghana, and other African countries. Their technology lets riders quickly exchange batteries at designated stations, promoting convenience and sustainability.

Davido shared his excitement about the partnership, emphasising its potential to save money, protect the environment, and provide stylish mobility solutions. Spiro’s CEO, Kaushik Burman, praised Davido as an ideal partner, highlighting his influence and a shared vision for a greener Africa.

With this partnership, 2025 could mark a major milestone for sustainable transport in Africa.
