A 22-year-old final-year student of the University of Benin, Idowu Glory, has been found dead close to her home in Benin, Edo State, after being beaten and raped. The family is seeking justice following her brutal murder and has called on the Nigeria Police Force to find the perpetrators of the evil.

Glory reportedly left home on June 13, 2024, for her final clearance in school; however, her physically abused and lifeless body was found near her family home.

According to a post on X by @talk2veee, the 22-year-old “was beaten, raped and killed. Her remains were then dropped very close to the parent’s house.”

The incident allegedly occurred when she was returning from school. “She left home and went to school for clearance on June 13, 2024,” her body was later found.

As of filing this report, the police have yet to make a statement regarding the incident.
