In the other semi-final, Japan defeated Ghana 1-0 to progress, while defending champions North Korea cruised to a 3-0 victory over the United States.

The winners of the two semi-finals will advance to the final scheduled for Saturday, November 7, while the losing teams will compete in the third-place match on the same day.

Nigeria, who won bronze at the 2022 edition in India, will be hoping to go a step further this time and challenge for their first-ever title.
