The meeting reflects Niger’s commitment to fostering strong African partnerships based on solidarity, mutual dialogue, and sustainable development. It also aligns with the objectives of the Alliance of Sahel States, which seeks to encourage cooperation and development across the region. Officials noted that such partnerships are critical in addressing shared challenges, including energy access, climate resilience, and economic growth.

Both countries expressed optimism that closer cooperation in the energy sector could serve as a model for regional collaboration, driving investment, innovation, and capacity building while supporting broader efforts toward economic and social development in Africa.
