Kaha and 2Baba play criminals, orchestrating a heist with their “riders” — women who serve as companions or accomplices in this context. They rob a bank, stealing diamonds and cash. The storytelling wants to mix romance with crime-thriller tension, but it doesn’t quite land. One confusing detail is the presence of the police before the robbery takes place — a plot hole that leaves questions unanswered. Was it an ambush gone wrong? Was there a leak? The video doesn’t bother to explain, leaving a gap in narrative logic.

2Baba’s character appears more developed — he has a rider at home, a woman who seems unaware of his double life. That adds some emotional weight, hinting at internal conflict and duality, but the idea isn’t explored deeply enough to feel impactful.

Visually, the video is clean and well-shot, with decent production quality. But in terms of originality and storytelling, it feels like a recycled script. We’ve seen this kind of “ride or die” couple-as-criminals storyline before, and nothing particularly new is done with it here.

The beat is soft and smooth — a typical 2Baba terrain — and he adds his usual heartfelt delivery. Kaha keeps things steady, though his performance doesn’t stand out as much.

RIDER has emotional intention and polished sound, but the video lacks originality and narrative clarity. It’s not a bad effort, just not a memorable one either.
