Olu Jacobs Is Not Dead, Betty Irabor Debunks Death Rumors

Veteran Nollywood actor Olu Jacobs is “well and alive,” contrary to rumours of death circulation on social media.

This was disclosed by a founder of Genevieve Magazine, Betty Irabor, who wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, debunking the claims.

Not long after Irabor debunked Jacobs’ death rumour, SaharaReporters published a video report indicating proof of life as he was being treated to a lovely home service haircut.

It will be recalled that there were rumours that Jacob died in 2021 until he attended the Africa International Film Festival (AFRIFF) in November 2021, where he was honoured with the Lifetime Achievement Award.

His wife, Joke Silva, later revealed in an interview with Chude Jideonwo that he was battling Dementia with Lewy bodies. After debunking the news, Silva threatened legal action against those spreading the information.

In his acting career, Jacobs has graced viewers with great memories on TV screens since the 1990s, indicating his talents and dedication.
