Nigerian music star Davido has lent his talents to the remix of the hit single ‘Ogechi’, which has delighted fans and honoured his wife, Chioma. The Grammy-nominated Afrobeats artist released a snippet of his verse on social media, sparking excitement among listeners. The remix is originally a song by Brown Joel, Boypee, and Hyce, and it debuted on June 25, the same day as Davido’s wedding to Chioma.

‘Ogechi’ has become a viral sensation, particularly on TikTok, where it has been featured in over 300,000 videos. The song has also climbed the charts, reaching the top 10 on Apple Music Nigeria and the TurnTable Top 100. Davido’s participation in the remix is expected to boost its popularity further, continuing his trend of propelling songs to tremendous success.

This latest collaboration follows Davido’s recent feature on Kizz Daniel’s “Twe Twe” remix, which has also been well-received. Known for his consistent ability to produce hits, Davido’s contribution to ‘Ogechi’ underscores his reputation as a powerhouse in the Afrobeats genre.
