The police in Lagos State have arrested a group of 10 suspected ritualists who were killing people and selling their body parts. Among them were a female Osun priestess, a community chief, an Ifa priest, an Islamic cleric, and a traditional medicine practitioner.

The police caught them based on tips from the public. The leader, a 33-year-old man named Ademola Akinlosotu, admitted to initially digging up corpses and selling parts but later started killing people on demand for fresh body parts.

He confessed to killing two people, including a friend he met online. Before each murder, they consulted a herbalist to check if it would succeed without trouble.

Akinlosotu said they sold a fresh human head for N45,000 to N50,000, a dried head for N30,000 to N35,000, a heart for N70,000, and hands for N50,000.

They would sell these body parts to a 52-year-old man named Ahmed Wahab, who operated in Badagry, Lagos State, and Ogun State.

The police found various human body parts in their possession and are still investigating, after which the suspects will face charges in court.
