Peter Obi Calls for Urgent Actions to Save Nigeria's Growth

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party, in a post on X, has commended the announcement of the release of some of the abducted schoolchildren and teachers in Kaduna. He emphasised the importance of concerted efforts to ensure the safety and security of all Nigerians.

“While we celebrate the return of these children to their families, we must intensify efforts to free others who remain captive in various kidnappers’ dens across the country,” stated Obi.

The incident highlights the urgent need to address the pervasive issue of insecurity in Nigeria. Calls for decisive action to eradicate terrorism and guarantee the safety of every Nigerian within the nation’s borders have grown louder in the wake of such incidents.

“No Nigerian should ever be a captive or hostage in his fatherland,” Obi asserted, echoing the sentiments of many concerned citizens.

Obi urged Nigerians to maintain hope for a brighter future, emphasising the collective responsibility to strive for a secure and safe nation.
