Again, Scores Kidnapped In Kaduna Village

Kaduna State Governor, Senator Uba Sani, has voiced deep concern over the decline in student enrollment in schools across the state, attributing it to the escalating insecurity fueled by kidnapping, banditry, and related crimes.

At least 40 individuals were abducted from Buda Village in Kajuru Local Government Area, Kaduna State, on the night of Monday, March 11.

Former lawmaker Shehu Sani confirmed the incident via his X account on Tuesday.

Expressing his dismay, the former senator who represented Kaduna Central Senatorial District criticised the kidnapping, describing it as “another condemnable act.”

This incident comes less than a week after terrorists kidnapped over 200 students and teachers in Kuriga Village, located in the Chikun Local Government Area, Kaduna State.

The latest kidnapping occurred in the same area where a school principal was murdered and his wife taken hostage more than a month ago, an incident Sani also acknowledged in his social media post.
