Reports indicate a deadly clash between a police officer and a local marketer, escalating rapidly into a scene of pandemonium. Eyewitness accounts and videos circulating online show a chaotic scene of confusion. Other reports are suggesting a fire outbreak in the market, leading to the chaotic scene.
In one video on X, a witness describes the scene, “There is pandemonium in Wuse market right now, everybody running helter-skelter, running for their dear life. This is a clash between a police officer and a marketer who was doing his business but was gunned down by a police officer. The police post and so many cars were burnt down; everybody is going.”
Authorities are yet to make a statement regarding the incident as tensions remain high and the violence continues.
