Road to AFCON Finals, Peter Obi Congratulates the Super Eagles

The former Governor of Anambra, Peter Obi, congratulates the National Team, the Super Eagles for securing a qualifying win to the African Cup of Nations Final after its match against the Bafana Bafana Team of South Africa.

He expressed in recognition the level of determination, patriotism and professionalism to moving past semi-final, as a sign to bringing the AFCON Trophy home.

In part, his statement reads;

Today was yet another victorious outing for Nigeria as our National Team, the Super Eagles displayed great fighting spirit, beating the Bafana Bafana of South Africa to take Nigeria to the finals in the ongoing AFCON games.

Furthermore, he added that the team had maintained great determination, professionalism, and patriotism with a high energy level, signifying their readiness to bring home the trophy.

Meanwhile, the Super Eagles are qualified to participate in the 2023/24 AFCON Finals, which will be held on Sunday.
