South African sensation Tyla, at 21, earned a nomination for the Amapiano-infused “Water”, marking her upward trajectory. Afrobeats icon Davido secured three nominations, including “Unavailable” from his album “Timeless,” reflecting his status as one of Africa’s most streamed artists.

Grammy-winning Burna Boy, with four nominations, continues to influence global music, capping a historic 2023 at No. 1 on the Billboard Afrobeats Artists Chart.
